Changes To Board Committees
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements
and paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, shareholders and
noteholders are advised of changes to board committees, in line with the succession
planning of the Group boards and to expand the skills set of the respective board
committees, as follows:
Appointment of Mr Hilgard Pieter (Hillie) Meyer as a member of the Group's
Actuarial and Investments committees
The Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Hillie Meyer as a member
of the Group's Actuarial and Investments committees, with effect from 1 April
2024. As previously announced on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE on
7 March 2024, Mr Meyer has been appointed as a non-executive director of both MMH
and MML, effective 1 April 2024.
Appointment of Dr Ann Frances (Frannie) Leautier as a member of the Group's
Nominations, Remuneration, as well as the Social, Ethics and Transformation
committees
The Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Frannie Leautier as a
member of the Group's Nominations, Remuneration as well as the Social, Ethics and
Transformation committees, with effect from 1 April 2024. Dr Leautier is an
existing independent non-executive director of MMH and MML and a member of the
Group's Investments as well as the Risk, Capital and Compliance committees.
Resignation of Mr Paballo Joel Makosholo as a member of the Group's Social, Ethics
and Transformation committee
Mr Makosholo is resigning as a member of the Group's Social, Ethics and
Transformation committee, with effect from 31 March 2024. He remains an existing
non-executive director of MMH and MML and a member of the Group's Investments as
well as the Risk, Capital and Compliance committees.
