RESULTS FROM GENERAL MEETING

The General Meeting of shareholders of Alexander Forbes was held at 10:00 on 31 March 2020. The
Company confirms that the ordinary resolution put to independent shareholders at the General Meeting
was passed with the requisite majority of votes.

The application for the Takeover Regulation Panel (TRP) waiver exemption will be submitted to the
TRP shortly and shareholders will be advised once formally approved, after which Alexander Forbes
shareholders may request the Takeover Special Committee to review the TRP waiver exemption within
five business days of the announcement.
