APPOINTMENT OF PERMANENT CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER


Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service on 6 August
2024, wherein shareholders were advised that Mrs Lihle Mbele ("Mrs Mbele"), a chartered accountant and the
Group Head of Finance, had been appointed as the interim Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of Ascendis with effect
from 30 July 2024.

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Mrs
Mbele has subsequently been appointed as the permanent CFO and as executive director of Ascendis with effect
from today, 2 December 2024.

The board congratulates Mrs Mbele on her appointment and looks forward to her continued contribution to the
Company.
