Death of Independent Non-Executive Director Brian Smith

With great sadness, the Board announces the passing of Mr Brian Smith, Independent Non-Executive
Director of the Company, over the weekend.

Mr Smith (CA, SA) served the Company with insight and dedication in his capacity as Chairperson of
the Board, and Audit Committee member.

The Board extends its sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

The Board will update noteholders further in due course.
