CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements, the board of
directors ("Board") of Metrofile would like to advise shareholders that Mary Bomela will be classified
as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.

Mineworkers Investment Company (Pty) Ltd ("MIC"), Metrofile's empowerment partner and
strategic shareholder owning 39.20% Metrofile shares (net of treasury shares), informed Metrofile
that Mary Bomela has left the employment of MIC and that MIC will nominate a new representative
to serve on the Metrofile Board in due course.

Mary has been on Metrofile's board as a non-executive director for 14 years and has a wealth of
knowledge and experience. The Nominations Committee assessed the independence of Mary and
confirmed that Mary exercises objective judgement and that there is no interest, position,
association or relationship, which judged from the perspective of a reasonable and informed third
party, is likely to influence unduly or cause bias in her decision-making. The Board therefore
confirmed that Mary will continue to serve on the Board of Metrofile as an independent non-
executive director, effective immediately.
