CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Shareholders are advised that Martin Slabbert has resigned as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of MAS with
immediate effect. Martin has been appointed as chairman of PKM Development Ltd ("PKMD"), the development joint venture
company, replacing Mihail Vasilescu, MAS' recently appointed chief executive officer, who has resigned as a director of
PKMD.

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dewald Joubert, Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, as
Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.

Following the above changes, the Board is considering the reconstitution of its committees and a further announcement will
be made in due course.
