INCORRECT DISCLOSURE OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN TRUWORTHS SECURITIES

Shareholders of Truworths are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 2 June 2026, relating
to the notification in terms of section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act (Act 71 of 2008), as amended, and
paragraph 6.54 of the JSE Listings Requirements regarding the disposal of a beneficial interest in the
company's securities by Old Mutual Limited ("Old Mutual"), such that Old Mutual's total interest in the issued
ordinary shares of the company amounted to 3.96% following the disposal (the "notification").

The company has since been advised by Old Mutual that the notification was issued erroneously as a result
of an internal system error. Accordingly, Old Mutual's holding of the company's issued ordinary shares has
remained unchanged. The company will duly inform the Takeover Regulation Panel and the Companies
and Intellectual Property Commission of this matter.

The board of directors of Truworths accepts responsibility for the information contained in
this announcement and certifies that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the information contained in
this announcement is true and that there are no facts that have been omitted which would make any
statement in this announcement false or misleading and that this announcement contains all information
required by law and the JSE Listings Requirements.
