RATINGS UPDATE

On 28 May 2019 Moody’s Investor Services (“Moody’s”)
affirmed Barloworld Limited’s (“Barloworld”) long-term
Global Scale Ratings of Baa3, and long-term National Scale
Ratings of Aa1.za with a stable outlook.

Moody’s reported that this rating recognises Barloworld’s
leading competitive market positions, supported by strong
brand offerings and stable long term relationships with its
principal suppliers, together with a diversified product
mix and resilient business model. The rating also considers
Barloworld’s credit metrics which have historically been
relatively stable and are supported by the company's
ongoing commitment to balanced financial policies and a
good liquidity position.
