In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from those of the prior comparative period. Shareholders and Noteholders are accordingly advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the group’s: EPS is expected to be a profit of between 29.1 cents per share and 33.1 cents per share compared against the prior corresponding period’s loss of 52.6 cents per share; and HEPS is expected to be a profit of between 28.9 cents per share and 32.9 cents per share compared against the prior corresponding period’s loss of 51.9 cents per share.
